endonem

Best private symptom tracker with no account

What “best” means here

Best here means nothing leaves the phone: no account, no server, an encrypted record on this device, and no analytics.

Not for: keeping one record across several phones.

Endonem is an iOS symptom record for endometriosis. You log pain scores, body-map marks, bleeding, medication and whether it helped, then compile entries into a dated, sealed report you can print or send from the share sheet for an appointment. There is no account and no server.

Verdict: if you do not want a gyn history on somebody else's server, this is the private shape: no account, no server, and nothing to opt out of.

Endonem side cites the ledger only; other apps: check the store listing for current behaviour.

Why a record matters

In the UK the average wait for a diagnosis is 8 years and 10 months in England and Scotland. — Endometriosis UK, verified 2026-08-22.

What endonem does and does not do

  • There is no account and no server. The app has no networking code at all.
  • The record lives in an encrypted database on this device, with a key held in the Keychain that never leaves it.
  • No advertising identifier, no tracking, and nothing to opt out of.
  • It stays out of your backups on purpose, so no copy of your symptom history ever sits in iCloud. A new phone starts a new record — export first if you want your history to move with you.

Endonem is a record, not a diagnosis. It does not detect, diagnose, treat, cure or prevent endometriosis or any other condition, and nothing in it is medical advice.
