Support

a human reads these

Write to sidd.develops@gmail.com — one person reads it, and it is the same address for support and for anything about the privacy policy.

One thing to know before you write: we have no copy of your record and no way to look anything up. Please don’t send us your health information — describe the problem instead, and tell us your phone and OS version. If the app has been crashing, turn on Settings → Crash reports, reproduce it, then copy a report from that screen and paste it in. It contains no symptom, medication, name or identifier by design.

I am moving to a new phone

Export first, on the old one: Settings → Your data → Export everything. Your record is not in your phone’s backups, deliberately — the encryption key is not backed up either, so a restored copy could not be opened by you or by anyone else. A new phone therefore starts a new record, and the export is what travels.

Getting my record out

Settings → Your data → Export everything produces one PDF containing the record and its attachments, handed to the share sheet you pick — mail, files, print. From the moment you send it, that copy is governed by wherever you sent it.

Deleting everything

Settings → Your data → Delete everything, hold to confirm. The database file is destroyed and the encryption key with it. There is no copy anywhere else, no confirmation email and no recovery window. The same screen offers you the export first, because the irreversible thing should come after the reversible one. See Erasure.

Cancelling a subscription

Cancellation belongs to the store you bought from. Subscription → Cancel subscription in the app takes you straight to the right page in your App Store or Google Play account. Cancelling stops future charges and leaves the current period running to its end — and it does not delete, lock or alter anything you have logged.

I paid and the app doesn’t know

Subscription → Restore purchases, signed in to the store account you bought with. If a store is unreachable the app keeps your existing access rather than revoking it, so an outage never costs you a report.

Refunds

The store you bought from handles them under its own policy: Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com, Google through Play. We cannot issue one on their behalf.

I forgot my phone passcode / the app won’t unlock

The app lock uses your device’s own face, fingerprint or passcode; there is no separate endonem password and no reset link. If you lose the device and its key, the record cannot be recovered — by you, by us, or by anyone. That is the same property that keeps it private.

Accessibility

Every screen is built for screen readers and for the largest text size your phone offers, targets are at least 48dp, severity is never colour alone, and reduced motion is respected. If something in the app fails you here, that is a bug and we want it: sidd.develops@gmail.com.

endonem is a record, not a diagnosis, and nothing here is medical advice — see What endonem is. If you are in severe pain, bleeding heavily, or something has changed suddenly, contact a doctor or your local emergency service.
