glossary · two numbers, different jobs, both yours
Against yourself, over months.
A pain score rates how strong pain is in the moment. A quality-of-life score rates how much pain gets in the way of your life over time. In Endonem the second is your own answer on the app’s own 0–100 scale, compared only with your own earlier answers. It is not a clinical instrument and is not compared with one.
Insights show each finding with the number of entries behind it, and say ‘Patterns, not causes’.
The two scores side by side
| Pain score | Quality-of-life score | |
|---|---|---|
| Answers | How strong pain is right now | How much pain gets in the way of life lately |
| Scale | 0–10 at log time, one violet hue | The app’s own 0–100, your answers only |
| Compared with | This entry against that entry | You against your own start line, never a clinical instrument |
| Shows as | Severity hue on the day | A line over months plus monthly heat density |
Both are your own answers read back with counts, not verdicts.
