How to track pain by cycle day

Last updated: 2026-09-12 · Author: Endonem

Cycle day as context, never as a forecast.

Tracking pain by cycle day means logging bleeding as a range and reading pain against it. Drag a range across the days bleeding happened, with no regular cycle required. Pain entries keep their own dates beside it. Over months the pairing shows which days carry more weight. Endonem is not a period tracker, and it guesses nothing.

  1. 1. Drag each bleed as a range

Mark bleeding by dragging a range over the days it covered, including light days and spotting. No regular cycle is required, and irregular months fit as they are. Add pain scores on their own days beside the range. The calendar then holds both signals without forcing either into a template.

  2. 2. Keep pain entries dated

Score pain where it sits and mark the body map with the kind of pain it is. Dated entries matter more than daily ones, because the last two weeks can be filled in from memory while anything unplaceable is skipped. A dated handful beats an exhaustive blur. The heat grid later thanks you for dates.

  3. 3. Read months as heat

Step back and read months of history as heat density, a monthly grid with the mean for each month. Dense patches show where pain clustered against cycle days. Each insight shows the number of entries behind it and says patterns, not causes. Compare yourself against yourself across seasons, never against strangers.

  4. 4. Leave gaps alone

Endonem is not a period tracker, so missing months change nothing and prompt nothing. Nothing counts your streak or tells you off for a day you missed. Gaps render neutrally, never as failure. When logging resumes, the new entries simply join the grid beside the old ones.

Questions

My cycle is irregular. Does this still work?

Yes. Bleeding is logged by dragging a range, and no regular cycle is required. Endonem is not a period tracker.

Does the app forecast my next period?

No. It reads your entries only and states patterns, not causes. Cycle day here is context for pain, nothing more.

What is the heat grid?

Months of history as heat density: a monthly grid with the mean for each month. Dense months stand out at a glance.
